Ng Yen Yen is contemplating on contesting the top three MCA posts during their party's October elections. Wah! Historical alright! Number two or three, maybe, but is she capable of handling the top job? Does she possess the toughness to turn the party around?
MCA needs a strong and heavy-duty man at the top. A muscle man, who has the guts to speak up and kick some butts. I have not seen Ng Yen Yen’s legs, they may be beautiful and sexy but seriously, I do not think those legs are tough enough for a kick-butt job! Kekekeke!!! She has made more than her fair share of weak and middle of the road kind of statements, the same old, same old traditional MCA way of being the good guy in the eyes of their masters at Barisan National – their out of date, not making waves, kind of politics and attitude. The party needs a man who is able to take a stand on issues, make tough decisions and stick by it no matter what.
Time to move forward MCA! Time to get out of the aged old policies of wasting time and trying to please everyone at the expense of their supporters and the Chinese people, who desperately need a party that represents value, integrity and a party that will never betray their trust and hope. They do not want leaders whose sole purpose is looking for minutes of fame, renumeration, power and bragging rights.
UMNO and PAS have held discussions on Malay rights and issues and there are suggestions to do the same with all Malay organizations. Hence MCA should feel no qualms at all about championing the rights and issues of the Chinese people. We’ve had prejudice, suppression and abuse of power and MCA should not cower and pretend that life is all hunky-dory for their own race.
Gerakan has gone into hibernation and DAP is supposedly, a party for all of the people. Realistically, a one race country exists only in a dream world and far from achievable in a country which is predominantly Malay with Islamic values. MCA need to revitalize their thoughts and actions, to bestir themselves toward the security and continued existence of the Chinese people in Malaysia. The leader must steadfastly advance the causes and welfare of the Chinese, who must be free to work anyplace in this country, free to create their own feelings, passions, ambitions and desires. Chinese rights must be respected, no one is inferior or more superior and every person must be bestowed the same equality and justice in this country.
Until and unless MCA is commited to voicing and expressing the concerns and problems facing the Chinese people in this country, everything else will come to naught. The Chinese people are watching and MCA must demonstrate that they are able to exert their right within Barisan National. There will always be friction within the coalition but they must prove that they are brave and strong enough to confront the wrongs and will unfailingly do their utmost to put the wrongs into right.
