RPK's No Holds Barred latest 'Rosmah at the scene'

eruption_of_vesuvius_joseph_wright_wince.jpgRaja Petra Kamarudin filed a statutory declaration alleging that Deputy Prime Minister Najib's wife was at the murder scene of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu on 18 June, 2008. The story was first posted by blogger bigdogdotcom on 20 June.

On 21 June, RPK wrote in his article entitled 'Rosmah at the scene' in No Holds Barred column on his website Malaysia Today, that, "My informer states that Acting Colonel Aziz Buyong was the person who placed the C4 on various parts of Alantuya's body while being witnessed by Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and Norhayati."

Reactions from Najib's aide was "At the moment, we are looking into it. This is a very mind-boggling statutory declaration."

Gist from the feedback and comments left by readers of the article are:

1. Admiration for RPK's courage and congratulations on making this revelation public

2. Fear and concern for RPK and his family's safety

3. RPK should lodge police report if he is 100% sure of his sources.

4. The 'revelation' just blew the interest in Datuk Yong Teck Lee's motion of no-confidence out the window

5. PM and his SIL are also implicated with their knowledge of the crime by the possession of a letter of confirmation from the military intelligence.

6. Declaration made on 18th Jun, how come ACA no action? Where else Yong Teck Lee was investigated 24 hrs after BN Supreme council meeting.

7. Badawi and Najib are finished, and Muhyiddin moves up. The judge will order a retrial of the Altantuya case, now that military intelligence will come forward to present the evidence.

8. A re-election soon and the downfall of UMNO and the BN?

9. It's too much like a made up story and too hard to digest.

10. Sounds like a cheap grade B movie script.

We highlight below one of the comment for your reflection:

If true justice is not pursued for this case, the name of Malaysia will be soiled forever internationally and the trust of all rakyat in the integrity of the government will forever be destroyed domestically.

This is not just about who killed who; neither is it about the fate of Umno. It's about justice clear and simple to be meted on the perpetrators of a heinous crime against a young mother. If the guilty walk free and the innocent punished, then that will set precedent for more of the same to be done in the future. This is not just against the principle of any justice system in the world, it is also against the principle of a democratic government, a civil society, any religious faith, even the moral compass of agnostics.

The right thing must be done, and done quickly.

Were it just one name, the matter may be made contended but three names were mentioned, one of whom apparently an expert on C4, something which one would only expect to be used by the military which thus adds one of the two missing links, the other being the personal assistant of the name who is related to the C4 expert; considering the speed of the despatch, means, motive and opportunity presented themselves in a logical ring for this murder.

The question now is who is going to move on this. The prosecuting team is remembered to have deflected cross-examination when 'his' name was mentioned. Why, if truth and justice was to be pursued? The defending team will have to shape up and run with this quickly before another hush-up is made, for assuredly the perpetrators won't be sitting idle.

But will they if it also ends up implicating two or more of the people they're defending?

The whole world is watching this. If nothing is done on this declaration, the rakyat will conclude there's a cover-up - which means the justice system of this country is a complete sham.

To the Malays, the great Allah is watching.

This must therefore guide the Rulers to protect the informer and other informers yet to be named, protect YM RPK (Malaysia's truest and greatest hero and real son of the soil) and call for a quick expansion of the investigation to add the new revelations into the proceedings. One can only imagine how much resources are now being rapidly assembled to identify and turn the 'informer'in order to nullify this declaration and therefore harm RPK while neutralising the Rulers.

But truth and justice must prevail. Therefore their attempts must be quickly exposed before taking hold.

The military must also come in to do the right thing and reveal all. The greater national interest is served if justice is done and seen to done. By the Laws of Allah, cover-ups are a sin to Him.

And if the judge ignores it, that will say it has all along been a circus.

And if the police and others interfere to diminish it, this country is also finished. No one will cooperate with them in the future.

And if Badawi and KJ sit on it, that would be an equal crime against the victim and her family, the hope of all rakyat to see the right thing done, the return to true justice for this country, the integrity of the Executive Office itself. They cannot argue that if they pursue it, then Umno will fall. Umno is not Badawi going out; it is now also not Najib coming in. It is to be what all political parties should champion - justice, purity, service and ideals. This one case is His lesson down for all to learn. If they don't see it this way, Umno will never be able to rebuild itself because its foundation will be made from sand. And the blood of innocents.

Everyone has a role and responsibility to see real justice is served. Even if Najib et.al succeeds in deflecting this missile, they are all already finished. Just recall Thamby Chik. The taint is unerasable.

Eyes will also be on Muyhiddin and Tengku Razaleigh on this one. No less Tun Mahathir. What will be their reaction and counsel?

Anwar must also not let this go; it's all about the credibility of governance of any future government of Malaysia. With Najib out, the proceedings to investigate Project-IC will also be affected. Yong etc must also clamor for action.

This is an extremely serious matter; in the coming days, there will be a titanic battle to disprove, and counter-prove it.

Also, in the coming days, no one will not expect attempts using deep pockets to create the most air-tight alibi's for the named. The new financial standings of the alibi-creators must be investigated and asked to swear on the Holy Book in front of real Imams and in the place of worship.

Malaysia is at stake.
